How creators get paid for Steam wishlists

How YouTubers, streamers and TikTok creators earn money per Steam wishlist: claiming jobs, tracking links, what counts, and when you get paid.

Updated

How it works

  • Find a job. Developers bid a price per wishlist and say how many creators they want, for example 3 creators × 50 wishlists at $0.25.
  • Claim a slot. If you meet the job’s minimum audience, it’s yours instantly. No pitch, no approval.
  • Make your video or stream and share your link. Each video gets its own tracking link.
  • Get paid for every wishlist Steam verifies, for up to 30 days after you claim.

What counts as a wishlist

A real viewer clicks your link, is logged in to Steam, and wishlists the game within 72 hours. Steam’s own UTM report has to show it for your link. We also filter bots, repeat clicks and paid traffic.

Never reward viewers for wishlisting: no giveaways, keys or payments for it. That breaks Steam’s rules and gets earnings reversed.

When you get paid

Clicks show up live. Wishlists arrive in batches as Steam finalizes its report. Earnings stay pending for 30 days after the report that verified them, then go to the bank account you connect through Stripe.

Creators pay nothing and keep the full bid shown on a job. See how much your next video could earn.
